The photos were taken using night vision technology developed by Paris Hilton and Rick Solomon.
The real question however is "Why would the Black Hornet Squadron make such a mistake?"
A possible theory is the aircraft was placed outside for an annual Squadron photo, but more likely the "mistake" was actually a deliberate one as they knew perfectly well these photos were being taken.
But why?
An ominous warning to Australia's regional neighbours?
A show of force?
A distraction form the emerging talk about the secret F-111 squadrons seen operating out of Temora?
You be the judge.
Update. Since posting this photo, I am certain my phone lines are now tapped!

It is not unusual for Hornets to land at Woomera.
ReplyDeleteType in "F/A-18 woomera" or "hornets woomera" and you will see pictures of them there.
They use the Woomera bombing range all the time.
Sadly, not one black one in sight.
This is the only PROOF that is actually reasonable
